Bresslergroup's machineQ-based solution, Sencity, helps locals and tourists alike navigate some of Philadelphia's well-known sites without getting caught in crowds.
It tracks conditions at popular Philly spots to provide guidance for best times and days to visit, based on data. Small IoT devices located near each site are equipped with multiple sensors (time of flight, GPS, temperature) connected by the citywide machineQ LoRa network. Data is updated hourly and fed to a Web-based application that translates the information into trend-based recommendations.
Bresslergroup’s multidisciplinary product development team of researchers, designers, and engineers developed and connected all aspects of Sencity. The project included developing a ruggedized mobile device, embedded hardware and firmware design, as well as a responsive web app. Sencity launched on June 12th.
